The Nike ZoomX Dragonfly 2 features a wider flat area to the base, and an elevated big-toe-side platform, all to help these spikes feel more stable, from the straights through the bends. The new carbon flyplate is lighter and more responsive than the previous plate and provides improved durability and a propulsive feel. With full length ZoomX foam in the midsole you get Nikes pinnacle propulsive foam, lightweight and springy for energy return in each step. An engineered mesh upper features enhanced breathability and comfort, while the spike plate has changed to a four-spike traction pattern. Released in time for the summer games, The Blueprint pack is inspired by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman’s sketchbooks and notes, with the blue tick a homage to his obsession with performance and weight saving, where he would initially “dot” the famous Swoosh with a blue ball point to save weight on stitching a logo.
