The Nike Air Zoom Victory 2 features a two-chamber air zoom unit that combines with a carbon fibre flyplate and lightweight, responsive ZoomX midsole foam, to give you a propulsive and stable feeling from the blocks to the tape. Updated to feature a wider flat area and elevated big-toe side platform to give a more stable feel, Nike have removed two spikes in favour of a four-spike design. Atomknit in the upper provides a contoured fit, with enhanced breathability, while the midfoot containment cables give locked fit in an ultralightweight upper. Released in time for the summer games, The Blueprint pack is inspired by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman’s sketchbooks and notes, with the blue tick a homage to his obsession with performance and weight saving, where he would initially “dot” the famous Swoosh with a blue ball point to save weight on stitching a logo.
